Daphné began belly dancing in 1996 after being captivated by
the beauty of this ancient dance form. She has been teaching at Bella
Bellydance School since 2001. Not only does Daphné teach bellydance from
different regions of the Middle East, she also teaches authentic American
Tribal (Bedouin), Bollywood, and Polynesian dance. Looking forward to
seeing you all in class. New and experienced dance goddesses welcome to join
us for fun classes where we have opportunities to exercise, develop our
dance skills, socialise, and make friends. Most important – nurture
ourselves and love our beautiful bodies – whatever our shape, in a friendly,
encouraging environment.
Come join us. Hope to see you soon x x x Daphné |

For all of my life I have had this urge to Belly
Dance but until 2 years ago I had never had the courage to do it. So after
another Tantrum about wanting to go back to nice cold Tassie, I'd been in QLD
for 2 years and was really homesick and only staying for my partner. He finally
convinced me it was time to get out an meet some people and do something other
than work. So when I very nervously entered the dance studio one night for my
first class I was surprised to meet the loveliest bunch of ladies you could
imagine. We were all there for different reasons some beginners like me, some experienced
dancers, but now two years on the friends I have made the places we have been
together the things I have learnt and the confidence I have gained are
worth every second of nervousness I had on my way to class that first night (
and all the other moments in between before performing) not to mention I can
actually dance for my dinner these days. SO IF YOU WANT TO DO SOMETHING TO
CHANGE YOU LIFE A LOT COME AND JOIN US ONE NIGHT!!!!! Karen |
